Ok, I promise to hold off on any new topics for at least a few days- but as I'm packing I'm wondering whether to bring a bunch of my dvds. Does anyone know if dvd players bought in Kuwait function with American DVDs? I do have a small external american-bought dvd player that I could pack (although I'm not sure it would be able to plug into a kuwaiti tv).
Thanks! |

I'm sure that you can pick up an all-system DVD player there. I play mine on my laptop and I learned that it will also play European DVDs when someone mailed me one.
Someone else will have to tell you what the customs may do these days about them.

Don't bring any DVDs. You can get all you want here pirate copies and very good for $3 copy. |

Great, thanks! I have a lot of dvds that I love and it would probably take me a while to replace (I spent some time in China so picked up quite a few at $1 a piece) So I'll probably bring a few and then just enjoy the cheapo ones I can get there! |
