Hello there.

Does anybody know anything about Stevens English Training in Cologne? Is it one to avoid, and if so why? Very Happy
Many thanks - bit confused as am a new efl teacher and don't want to end up in a bad situation.

I used to work for them in Cologne (a couple of years ago) and they are a more than decent school. As far as I remember they don't have any freelance teachers, so everyone has a contract which is strange in Germany.

They have a good admin team, nice people, and the support is as good as anything I have experienced in Germany. The DoS is good!

They are quite big though and you'll probably spend half your time teaching Siemens engineers (YAWN!).

No TEFL job in Germany is paradise, but they are OK!

Are the jobs in Germany as bad as some of those jobs in Saudi Arabia? They can't be, can they?
