What are the best times of the year to search for a teaching job in South America? Does it depend on the country and type of school? I would ideally like to find work in Columbia and at a university. Please advise. Thanks. |

Now, I figure. End of the year is the worst time and from mid-December youll find half Bogot on the Caribean. Right now there beginning to trickle back and it will be another week or to till things get started. Universities are in holiday too and will open again end of January so get the application out asap. Beyond that Colombia is a bit chaotic and just hitting the ground and taking it from there is not the worst of policies. Speaking some Spanish does help a lot though.
So long
