What are generally the best areas to live in Doha? I am tired of my current aparment and am moving soon. It has a few quirks that are driving me crazy.
Can I get a nice furnished place for about 11,000 QR? Central AC preferred, but not a necessity? Does anyone know of ANY places that might have some available flats in about 7 weeks? Will consider anywhere in Doha.
Also: Where is a good place to get some boxes? I have yet to see any area of the city with 'cargo' shops so that I can get some boxes.

| The cheapest places at the moment are near Gulf Cinema or around Home Center (main shop). The streets are narrow but a lot of apartment buildings are going up. Rents seem to be going down. Why don't you check the classified ads in the Gulf Times? or try the Peninsula. I don't think any real estate agents read this forum. |
