I guess your soming to Taiwan once on a one way ticket makes you an expert. Airlines will be very fussy over alowing you onto the airplane without an onward ticket, they must foot the bill for this. If you get asked at customs what would you do? You were in Taiwan for 9 months. You truly are an expert on everything, I guess. You sir are a git.

More than a little boring now!

For f*ck's sake just stop! This is not what this forum is supposed to be about.

LEGALLY you have to have an ongoing ticket (information you can get from any Taiwanese Representative Office) if you plan to arrive on a tourist visa. However I'm sure its possible to blag your way in!

here we go again,
reiteration of my situation-
left toronto on aircanada flight to vancouver, vancouver to taipei on
eva airlines on nov.16th.
was refused boarding in toronto because although i had a return
ticket it wasn't within the 30 days that a landing visa would give
me. had to dash to rebook the return for dec.13, then was allowed
on the plane.
had to do a visa run to hong kong last week, had a return to hong kong and back and a ticket in hand for a flight out of taipei again as insurance.
for whatever reason i was not asked to show it on my return to taipei.
the score-
toronto to taipei ...... needed return ticket out of taiwan
hong kong to taipei .... didn't need onward ticket out of taiwan

go figure!
