How much for a beer in the bar and supermarket now?
Rent for simple flat... one person ...close to Orchard Rd and far from Orchard Rd... Gaz,hydro,TV,mobile,internet... Supermarket prices?
In general, how expensive is it to live there? Can one save any amount of $? What are the negatives living there vs the +'s?
I've read that some language schools are not so good and others are better. How about the MOE...what are they like to work for? length of the MOE working day,any week-end work, salary etc. ? |

Do you live in North Pole, Alaska? If you do, I might know you.
Do you have a job in Singapore lined up? If not, why not consider a different country? Places like the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia have a greater number of non-expat-package expats working in them than That City That Takes Itself Too Seriously.
Most expats in That City are on expat packages, I suppose, and thus have a weird view of That City and its relationship to SE Asia.
Really.
