|
|
Could someone provide me with some clarification please?
I am an American (USA) and have a CELTA and about 3 years of teaching experience (and a Master's degree) and would like to live and teach in Italy, legally.
I understand that with a student visa, I could get a permit to work in Italy for up to 20 hours per week.
Do I have to be enrolled as a full-time student or is it be possible to get a work permit if I am enrolled as a part-time student?
Also, I am currently living in Prague, so is it possible to get the permits/visas issued here or do I have to return to the US to get them processed?
Thanks! |

Short answer is I don't know, and Italian students seem pretty much part- time to me anyway! Pop over to the Expats Forum (http://expattalk.com) where there are more non-EU who will know more about this issue.
I have a horrible feeling you can't apply from Prague, but anyway, ask those more in the know. |
