Macau has <1% of Hong Kong's area and <10% of HKs population - only 2 small universities and a smaller polytech, so there aren't very many jobs there.
There's also a fierce and hideous bureaucracy which means work permits often take more than 4 months to be approved.
OTOH, these things mean that very few people actually apply for the jobs which are advertised, so you might possibly be in with an outside chance. |

I was thinking of applying for the uni job advertised at HKUST recently...this thread has definitely put me off... |
