Certified teacher, experience, teaching English, etc...
I tried ibo.org, but it doesn't seem to have many jobs available. I'm new at trying to find jobs. Any advice?
Thanks. |

The economy's hard-hit and there just arent' that many jobs out there - that is probably why you're not finding much.
I teach just over the border in the Netherlands, and we have several partner universities in Germany. There are lots of unemployed, qualified teachers out there seeking jobs right now - it's just a tight market.
Not that you might not find something, but I doubt it will be easy this year. |

I think you need to mention that the amount of money most teachers in Germany make is barely enough to break even and that non-EU people (and most non Germans) are forced to work Freiberuflich. That makes working there even more useless after taxes. I"ve known people who actually went into debt "working" in Germany. |

Yes this is true.
It is extremely difficult to find a english teaching/training position in Germany at the moment unless you're really qualified or lucky. |
