Ok: I stand corrected. 'Pomposity' it is, although I am a big fan of Late Middle English.

And to be very frank; I really am an old geezer! Why ... when I was a kid, we rode to school on a pony ... and cooked our dinner over an open fire. Heck, we didn't have computers or TVs! We just drew little stick pictures in the dirt while mom was milking the cows. Shocked

But seriously, I am thankful to itslatedoors for shedding light on the pompous gibbon connection. For the first time in my life, I truly understand my persistent craving for only the finest quality bananas money can buy. Laughing

I like 'The Pompous Panda' better. Sounds like an English pub name! English styled pub catering to particularly uptight dancing-panda ESL teachers here in the PRC.
