I'm in contact with a number of schools in Brno- Starfish School of English, Perfect English and MKM Language School. I would really appreciate it if anyone who's worked for these schools or had any dealings with them could fill me in. Any good, bad or indifferent information appreciated!!

Hi Sarah,
Not sure if you are still interested in any of the schools you mention, but if so, I know about two of them.

I teach some lessons for Starfish School, and they are really fantastic! It's a smaller school, so you don't feel lost in the organizational shuffle of things. There are enough teaching resources there, if you don't have much, and if you or a student needs some specific book, I'm sure the school would get it for you. The woman who runs it is really friendly and responsive about problems or last minute changes...so a good boss to have!

MKM seems okay. I agreed to work for them about 2 months ago, and they weren't sure how many lessons they would have for me...and just now I finally got one class from them! I think they have a lot of teachers working for them and keep everyone pretty part time. The office is in a good central location though.
