Hi
Now that the last "Bayram" is fast approching has any one spotted any decent holiday breaks that are available in THİS country? I spotted a few in the local papers but sadly they were oversubscribed or over priced . I did see a promising tour of the South East of Turkey but I'm told its still a bit dodgy there ,any comments ?
In the past I have gone on tours with a bus load of our Turkish brethern and they seem more interested in sleeping on the bus and drinking large amounts of tea ,consequently provoking many unscheulded comfort stops .It would be a refreshing change if a far sighted tour company could organise a tour for us foreign culture vultures who want to travel in the company of our own countrymen ,yes I know a far fetched idea ,but, not impossible . Does such a company exist in this country,I wonder. Best bargains around anyone in or out the country,I saw one for Bulgaria for 159 Euros ,but it was a sking holiday and the cultural tour was cancelled through lack of response ,that says it all really .
