I'm planning on moving to Lille in 3/4 weeks time to find work.

Does anyone have information / insight into the market here? What are the language schools in Lille? Is it easy to just turn up and take my CV around? Any advice about accommodation would also be nice.

Any help greatly appreciated.

This lists all the language schools in Lille.

If the link doesn't work go to www.pagesjaunes.fr enter enseignement langues in the Quoi Qui box and 59 into the Ou box

Have fun. Lille is a super city.

And easy to get to from Teesside via Eurostar.

For accomodation in Lille look at www.fuaj.org (Youth Hostels)and select Lille as the location.

Alternatively check the foyer des jeunes travailleurs - for acceptable accom.

Finding apartments is fairly easy although you may need to provide salary slips for a couple of months or to show that you have a permanent job.

Contact numbers and maybe even websites for the above will also be found on the pages jaunes pages.
