Hello,

Does anybody have any experience with this program? And if not, does it look reputable compared to the many many other programs out there?

http://www.tefljobplacement.com/thailand.php

Also, with my background, does it seem to fit my situation?

I am 24, Male, BA in English, ESL tutoring experience, getting my MA in Educational Administration... no teaching experience.

Thanks for your input/advice!

Warm Regards,
Roman

What was that old adage..... "A fool and their money....."

As highlighted above, you have what it takes to get a legal (proper visa, work permit, etc) job in Thailand.

A decent job will take a bit of work (of the boots on the ground sort) and due diligence on your part.

Get yourself a 60-day tourist visa and a plane ticket. Hit the ground running and unless you land smack in the middle of tourist season (worst times to be job hunting are Dec-Feb) you should find some work within days of landing and full time work within a couple of weeks.

The 2nd term for K-12 schools starts at the end of Oct so being here in Oct is not a bad thing. The absolute best times to be looking for work are late April through May.

To The OP,

With your qualifications you would have no problem finding a job in the LOS...expect salary offers around Baht 30,000/Month iin Bangkok. Good luck in the LOS! Smile
