w00t! i spoke with mr. muramatsu and the 'interview' went great! he says that he is going to put me in touch with the current EFl teachers and then send me the work visa paperwork!
a question: the work visa has to be used within 3 months of issue and lasts a year from the issues date, right? or if i got it now will it be activated when i start the job? i don't want my visa to run out in my last few months of teaching!
also: all of the other offers i have recieved were always strting a week from the time they emailed me. this is 5 months out. how dependable is this job? i'd like to save money by buying my plane tickets ahead of time, but i would hate to have them wasted or feel obligated to go to japan without a job b/c i spent so much money on the tixs. i will have STA tix, so the dates are movable, but i don't think the departure date can be changed.
any advice would be great! thanks again! |
