|
|
As folks often say here, this is off-topic but - I could use some advice.
Scenario: You are ready to return to Taiwan from a vacation in the United States. You want to take a present(s) back to Taiwan for some Taiwanese who have befriended you in the past. With your knowledge of Taiwan and of the U.S., what sort of gift would you buy that is representative of the U.S. that might not be readily available or curiously interesting to a Taiwanese?
Each price range is appropriate: Low - under US$20, Medium - under US$100, High - US$100 to US$500.
Thanks for your pertinent, timely, and creative suggestions, in advance.

Dear Out of Chaos,
The only thing I can think of would be Centrum Vitamins. They are way overpriced in Taiwan, and the Taiwanese think the ones directly from America are better.
If that doesn't work, take them out to eat at an Italian or American restaurant.
Just my .02
