"Good" and "agents" in the same sentence might be hard to swallow, but here's my problem. I'm teaching at a kids's school in a smaller town and it's just not for me. My strength is teaching adults. Can't handle kids.
What I would like to do is move to a larger city (Taichung, Kauoshiung, Tainan), and teach adults. I am willing to take the next couple of months to do this. So here's my problem:
I want to hire an agent to help me find a decent adult school, in addition to my looking for myself. Does anyone know an agent who is trustworthy?
Of course I wouldn't pay a dime until I am satisfied, but I think it is worth it. So please respond with the above reasoning in mind.
And please, no advice on not hiring an agent. Just positive feedback if you have any. Cheers |

Dear Wonder,
I have never heard the words "hire an agent" used by a teacher looking for work.
They typically work for schools, not for teachers. Either way, just thought I would let you know.
As you probably know, there is also a lot of paperwork that will need to be taken care of with the Ministry of Education.
Best wishes,
Clint

no, i don't know any trustworthy agents.
neither do i know of any "good adult schools." go to any big city and check out wall street institute. in theory, adults do sound so much nicer, but the reality maybe otherwise.
also, go over to tealit.com (yeah, i know...) and check out the banner pertaining to ROYALLY good news. the change in procedure for ARCs is something everyone of us should be aware of. |

I can't find that banner. How do you get to it, what does it look like? |
