I'm looking at being in Rome for the month of July. Can anyone suggest a reputable real estate agency that I could rent an apartment from? From here in the States, it's rather hard to tell which agencies are legitimate and which aren't. Also, does anyone have experience with Pompei Rentals (http://www.pompeirentalsrome.com/)?
Thanks! |

Unless I was just looking at the wrong thing, the rental prices on Pompei rentals were a bit coy! I wasn't sure if some of these were per week or per month. Why don't you email them and ask? They seemed to have some good places (at admittedly quite expensive) in central Rome, such as Testaccio - a nice place to stay.
I used a rental company for the first month in Rome, but I don't think they're still going. If you can find a couple of them, let me know and I'll have a look at their sites for you. I'd be suspicious of anything that sounds like too much of a good deal. I wouldn't deal with any company that insisted on Western Union payment either - you should have the option of a properly documented bank transfer. |
