Greetings All:
I am new to this forum. I wanted to ask if anyone is familiar with
NSL in Yaounde, Cameroon? I have been offered an ESL position there and have found scant information on the web. All I know is that they
are affiliated with English4A (english 4 all). Can anyone help?
Thanks

This is a scam!! I too was offered a posistion with NSL. Were you asked to get accomodation before you went in order to get your work visa? I was, and when I went to their "parnter company" who did the accomodation, it said I needed a 1700 USD deposit for 500/month apt!! I emailed the "apartment finder" several times last night, asking if they knew the school, asking for pictures of the school, the exact address ect. I really grilled them. The provided me with pictures, no address, and continued to say I needed a apt before I arrived. Even as recently as 10 hours ago, I was able to click on the link in the email from the "recruiter" English 4 All and go to the schools website. This morning when I tried to do the same, the webstite wasnt there and all I got was a website to buy a domain and build a website. I am not sure if the "recruiter" English for All is part of the scam. They are out of China, and all the correspondence went through them. I was never able to get them to let me talk to the schoo directly. I emailed them and asked today if there was something wrong with the website. My guess is this WAS A SCAM, the "apartment" people told the "school" what was up and they are busy erasing their tracks. So DON'T do this.....I luckily was relentless (a former news reporter) and found out this was bad news before it was too late. It really sucks that people would take advantage of newbies looking for a good first job. BE WARY and RESEARCH! I reccomend going with a trusted job finder like BridgeTelf out of Denver. I used them to get my CELTA certification. You will pay for the service (mine is free with my CELTA class) but they are a trusted reputable company with years of experience with ESL. If you want to talk more about this give me a shout. |

Thanks Teachme74:
Everything happened exactly as you described it. The reason I became
suspicious is because the weekly salary offered is 1,275 USD. All
newbies BEWARE! Do not waste any time with "NSL". I have been cooresponding with them for the past few weeks. Good looking out. |
