Hi,
Finding work in BA is proving easier than this cuitnumber. Ive been told many conflicting stories, most telling me I cant get it any more, some telling me I just have to go into the local police station, others telling me I cant get it until I have an address (Im still in a hotel - the apartment thing is another story.
Basically, has anybody out there recently otbained a cuitnumber? If so, some advice on how to go about it would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Rebekah |

Hello there,
I am argentine and I got my CUIT/CUIL number through a website , http://www.anses.gov.ar/cuil.htm , but you need to have a DNI, that is your identification, to get this DNI you need to have a residence, if not you wont be able to get your CUIT/CUIL here.
If I can help, just contact me. |

I've been here for a year now and the aren't handing out residencies very easily. Luckily for me my fiancee got his this week (along with the CUIT/CUIL) and the school I eventually wound up working for is handling all the details for me to get the DNI and work on contract.
Thanks for the help though! |

Hello Reb,
Let me tell you that getting the permanent residence for my husband, who is american, was easy but it took almost a year. May be it was easier for him because he married me, I am argentine, and we got an argentine baby girl.
If there is anything I can do or help, just drop me some lines!!
By the way, where are you from? is your fiancee in Argentina now? Are you in Korea now?
Good luck and I hope I can hear from you soon! |

Ahhh...
Well if you are argentine and you are married AND you had a baby in the country... yeah. they have a hard time denying residency to a parent, eh?
actually, my Fiancee got his through a lottery they were doing at the immigration office, but as I'm expecting a baby next month myself, the DNI follows...with the right paper work of course! |
