Anyone know about schools with ties to religious orgs? I'm looking to come to The Ukraine and want to stay away from these types of schools. I recently had a bad experience in china where the school didn't disclose the influence of the church. |

I can't speak for Ukraine specifically, but
This is far less common in Europe than in Asia generally.
I think it's unlikely that you would run into any such problems on the continent. |

There are two schools in Ukraine that have (or at least began) with affiliations with the Adventist Church. The first is English Language Center. On the schools partner page is listed information about its partnership as well as a link the the Seventh Day Adventist site.
American English Center is another school with ties to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. There are several posts here that discuss AECs Adventist learning practices. AEC also holds bible classes at some of its schools. The owner of the school is Adventist and several of its top management are also devout worshipers. Also, according to a listing on Facebook the new recruiter is a graduate of an Adventist college.
I'm sure there are other schools. During the summer months the Mormon Church "invades" Ukraine attempting to sell its message.
I hope this helps. |
