Heading to Vietnam shortly. Just a few quick questions regarding language school etiquette:
Appointments: OK to just walk in to a school and inquire or does propriety demand a pre-arranged appointment?
Dress Code: Shirt and tie necessary? Sandals ok?
Documentation: Original diploma necessary or copy acceptable? |

Appointments: Just walk in and inquire on job openings. You might have to come back later for an interview or you might get an interview on the spot, so be prepared either way. Make sure to dress appropriately.
Dress Code: The Vietnamese take education seriously. Shirt and tie are appropriate with trousers (not jeans). You do not need to wear a jacket. Do not wear sandals!
Documentation: Original diplomas if possible but copies will do (if you do copy, make it a color copy). If you end up having to get a work permit, your originals are a must. Especially your university diploma. It's a good idea to bring your documentation to interviews. |

what about facial hair? Side burns and a little beard?
Do they want just a diploma or do they want transcripts too? |

1. BLACK TROUSERS AND WHITE SHIRT - Tie for Interview
2. JUST WALK IN WITH YOUR RESUME IN HAND (copy of Diploma is Ok.
3. I DO NOT THINK FACIAL HAIR WOULD BE A PROBLEM BUT IT IS TOO
HOT AND YOU WILL SOON WANT TO REMOVE IT. |
