| Has anyone here ever received CELTA training in the Ukraine? What was your experience like? Would you recommend the school? |

| I took the CELTA at IH in Kiev in 2008. It was cheaper than any other place on earth at the time, $1300. I was green as grass but survived. Kind of like Boot camp. Not much sleep for 3 weeks. Tough course. One girl started crying because of the work load. I liked it there, but I was really the only rookie; most were experienced teachers from Ukraine getting certification. I had never stepped foot in a classroom before and was a bit intimidated. 3 years later I am still teaching. |
