Those that I know of landed on their feet and are doing well
This year's ax seems to have fallen on the top management in the colleges around the country. Emiratization starts at the top... and is moving downward slowly... from Central Services and now down into the colleges. But I doubt that we will ever see many Emirati teachers. Not enough status...

Well, in that case, it seems as if they did those people a favor! How would they feel if they realized that, by ushering folks away from their employment, they were actually helping them along in life!

1. In response to the above comment, I've been fired and it was the best thing that ever happened to me.
2. Dave needs to add a "like" feature. Anyone who has worked here for long and talked to Emirati students would "like" the status comment. |
