Hi, I've done this in Japan and Taiwan, but not sure about S. Korea: I'm flying home to the USA next week but will have a 5 hour (or so) layover in Seoul airport before moving on. Does anyone know if they offer very temporary visas to go out of the airport maybe to a nearby shopping mall or someplace to wander around in? I'll try researching on the internet but sometimes it's easier just to ask here. |

Depends on what your country of passport is.
If you are American then yes, you can get a stamp on arrival that is free and good for a stay of up to 90 days.
