Also, is there a "business district" in Prague where most larger businesses are located? Would that be Prague 1 or in another district?

Did you mean schools? Or other types of businesses?

The Pankrac area is a big business region in terms of offices, for example.

Most heavy industry is on the outskirts, of course.

Thanks!

By "business district," I mean the offices where one would typically teach English to businesspersons. I read that one must go from office to office to teach, but wouldn't this commute time take up a good part of the day if one was not close to the offices?

Also, may I ask about Schengen? I read that the visa is 90 days within 6 months. So if on 1 June I go to Iceland, on 7 June I go to London and stay there, and on 1 Aug I go to CR, would I have 2 months and 3 weeks left on my Schengen visa on 1 Aug, and would I have to wait until 1 Dec to get a Schengen reset? Or does the 90/180 clock reset on each entry?

Ah. You can easily find yourself travelling all over the city to your students. Yes, it can be time consuming. Public transit is very good, and your school will hopefully try to clump your classes in regions, but it's not always possible. Eg: I think the longest commute I had was out to Coca-Cola at Laktos twice per week. I often went from the centre to Pankrac (not bad), and had students up at the castle region. I also gave classes at the school office in Skalka. My first class every day (at 7am) was in Palmovka. If you check a map, you can get an idea of why teachers know the city well:-)

So far as the Schengen question, you get 90 out of 180. So you don't restart your 90 with a short stay out of the zone.

It used to be that you got 90 days, period. Then a border run restarted the 90 days. The 90/180 was designed to put a stop to that, you see.
