As nobody else has mentioned this, I thought i should. You no longer need to fill in the annoying landing card thingy when arriving at Borispol airport, Kyiv. You just hand over you're passport and get a stamp. Takes some of the stress out of arriving here.

Then I traveled by train to Russia and sure enough was asked for it! Luckily I had one.

Sounds like they've not been sharing information - no great surprise there. Worth knowing for those planning to travel on to Russia.
