Greetings!

I am in the process of getting my visa to teach in Indonesia next year with the Wall Street Institute in Jakarta

My question: according to my contact, they need my entire passport scanned - even the blank pages - to comply with the Indonesian department of Education. I don't want to sound paranoid, but is that truly the case? I have to basically send them my entire passport and not just my information/photo page? That just sounds like suspicious overkill to me.

That's a new one. Only ever had to scan photo page.

I've had to before at a previous school. It was legit.

Yes, so did I for the first interview. This came to me, along with the whole HIV/AIDS test.

So what do I do?

Hope I never have to - I've got a 48 page passport.

The Indo government is trying to implement some new and crazy rules and yes they want a copy of the whole passport and HIV/AIDs test results for new teachers.
