Well, first the hiring season is end August to September. Most contracts are Sept-June. If you're trying to find something to start now, there likely really isn't much out there.
Second, it's a very competitive job market. Unless you've got specialist qualifications (and get lucky to find an opening where they are needed) jobs are NOT usually found from abroad. You've really got to plan to go there, support yourself during the job search, and do it in person. There are simply lots of teachers in the city and employers don't normally need to take a chance on someone sight-unseen.
Finally, you'll need to consider your qualifications. Most newbies in the city have a CELTA or equivalent - the city boasts five or six very active training centres. If you don't yet have a cert, consider getting one in the city - it's a good 'in' for whatever jobs are going.
Overall, it's a pretty tight job market, though there are jobs in the right season and if you are there to apply in person. You could usefully spend some time reading other threads on this board - Chris Westergaard has posted a VERY useful description of 'how to land a job in Prague.'
