I still really want to go to Japan. But my friends and family are like thinking I am crazy.
The radiation in the food has gotten me worried though. Food prices are going to be more expensive than they already are, and how am I supposed to know if a restaurant has checked every piece of their food for radiation?
I really want to got Japan, but I'm worried about the effects of radiation - supposedly it can effect your fertility, and I would really like to have kids!
Even if I'm in the southern part of Japan, my food could still come from areas close to the nuclear reactors - and for that reason I'm worried about my safety in Japan.
Please note, I don't mean to sound overly selfish here. I know people are in really dire situations over in some parts of Japan. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the situation. I just need to start thinking ahead and determine whether my plan to go to Japan can still happen. |
