hello there.
I apologise if there is already a thread regarding this (I couldn't find it).
I've recently had an interview with IH Riga and was wondering if anyone had any info about them?
Good or bad? any horror stories?
hope to hear from someone soon.

cheers.

The beer prices went up to silly prices but have now gone down again as a result of the crisis. 1.60 - 2 would be normal for a pint of local beer depending where you drink. Guinness is 2.80 in the Irish bar in town for a pint.

IH Riga, this is all hearsay... typical IH franchise, lots of bureaucracy and paper work, not the greatest salaries around though they do pay legally and on time, which a few of the smaller schools in Riga won't do. Accommodation is provided but is usually shared and frequently in some godawful Stalinist estate on the fringes of Riga. Linguafranca is supposed to be a better place to work but I stress that's all hearsay.
