I have a friend interested in a university in Kosovo.
What is the cost of living and quality of life to be expected?
Is housing safe?
We haven't been able to get much information from the Internet, so if anyone has been through and/or experienced living and working there, please post or pm.
Thanks. |

Kosovo is extremely safe, people are very friendly (particularly towards British, double that for Americans), food is good - lots of eggs, honey and gristle. It gets mighty cold in winter, and clothing-wise you might need to invest in a 3/4 length coat, tank top, perhaps a small goatee, too. Standard of living depends entirely on yuour salary. Gets very muddy in winter, but is a charming place. |

Hi,
I lived in Kosovo (Prishtina) for nearly two years, if you'd like some advice, please PM me sometime, if you still need it.
