Hi guys,
Quick question. Anyone worked or know of anyone who has worked at UP or International House in Sao Paulo? And what the pay, classes, benefits, etc. were like? UP especially seems like a decent school.

Hi
I knew someone who worked at UP a couple of years back. My understanding was that she was quite happy there. They seem to be more or less a professional org. (instructors I think need at least a CELTA) decent pay rates for the SP market.
The only thing she couldnt handle was that it was mostly corporate contracts which meant travelling around SP all day and evening. She told me she felt like she was wasting her life on buses stuck in SP traffic. But hey, if you enjoy reading . . .
IH should be fairly professional also if they are part of IH international but I have not heard anything about them. |
