Britannia School of English, Kurdistan

Free flat and all bills paid by us (except telephone and other personal expenses)
Free pre-paid flights
Contract length negotiable (min 2 months, but would prefer longer)
All materials provided CUP
Free transport to and from workplace
Full Iraq insurance |
Based on reports from former teachers, the description of school is grossly exaggerated. They have a record of not honoring contracts. There is no Full Iraq insurance. Teachers are given a free inbound flight. How you get back is your problem. BSE decide whether you deserve a return flight. Single tickets to Europe cost over $1300. BSE require you to teach whatever hours at whatever times they decide. Another case of once youre there youre theirs.

The KRG is recruiting teachers who wish to work undercover in the fight against modern day slavery in the Kurdish educational system. |

Sounds like a trap for newbees. Are there any reputable colleges in Kurdistan? Kurds here in the UK say it's safe but the pay is low. Any advice appreciated. |
