Simple rule: never, never, never accept an EFL teaching job if you will be living in your employer's home. It's true in Poland, true in France, true everywhere....not likely to be a good experience.
We are not au pairs!! |

BIG WARNING: The boss, Tulay Farra, is extremely unprofessional, controlling and psychologically abusive. SHE IS A BULLY!
IF YOU TAKE A JOB AT LA PETITE ACADEMY IN BOUGIVAL YOU WILL REGRET IT. SHE WILL SUCK OUT YOUR BLOOD. YOUR LIFE FORCE.
We both wish someone had warned us before we accepted this job. We only lasted one week and for both of us it was the most unpleasant and SURREAL work experience of our lives. Children are not her priority: she is.
We've both found new jobs in China and are very happy. There are other options; don't stop at La Petite Academy in Bougival.

Well, in that case, perhaps we won't see too many more of these long, tedious, au pair tangents--which a surprising and puzzling number of threads veer onto, never to return?  |

*didn't know the name, just looked it up. Christ it was aired over 21 years ago  |
