I wonder what the future holds for English teaching in Libya now, post Gaddafi. Will it be any different or will the same people be handing out contracts for the oil companies. Those who have been there, would be interesting to get your comments on prospects out there....

I reckon the direct hires will go back as my boss recently told me.

In the mean time we have to work elsewhere.

Contractors will be needed. Will UTG, APT and Bell get them? who knows?

A nice consequence of all this at work might be that 'wasta' is less prevalent and the facilities are improved.

One or two nasty *beep* might also have gone.

"One or two nasty *beep* might also have gone".

One or two of them have certainly gone if you look at the recent film that is available online

Hopefully the NTC will start 'ringing the changes' and dump another nasty *beep*

I wonder if my PNG status will be changed. Confused

It'd be really nice if they opened it up to Americans. I've heard that gaddafi era libya didn't let Americans work in the oil/english language sector.
