Hi everyone,

I am interested in working for Oxford House and wanted to know if anyone had any experiences regarding them.
I am also considering another school that is rather small and I think unknown zel Boğazici İngilizce in Mecidiyekoy. They seem super nice but that doesn't pay my rent
Other schools I'm curious about is BilgeAdam and British Side.
This is my first time working for these types of schools. Before I worked at private K-12 institutions - regular pay and regular hours with lots of benefits.

Do any of these schools contract you for hours and then insist on you working extra hours? Or going to the ends of the city to teach a class or one to one?

Do they pay on time?

Are they controlling and crazy? I've heard so many horror stories that I'm paranoid.

What about their reputation?

All these schools seem good to me having met them and toured their facilities but there are just so many bad stories on here that I worry. I don't want to accept a job and find out I was wrong. I won't be able to go back to another one and say oops! I should have chose you. Crying or Very sad

each school will have its own ambience. one may be crooked, and one squeaky clean. It seems to me that your concerns are universal ones--and there is no clear cut answer. The one in Mecidicikoy may have a control-freak tyrant in charge who is going thru a divorce and taking it out on everyone. The one in Besiktas may have an angel who has dedicated his life to altruism in charge. etc........

Was interested in Oxford House myself.

Can't seem to find much on them which I might deem a good sign.

Any feedback?

Dude
