Greetings:
Do anyone know where in Dhahran I can buy American dollars or, better, Canadian dollars? Whereever country, I want to buy new bills with consecutive serial numbers. Finally, of course, the name of the place with the best exchange rate would be greatly appreciated. However, in the case of the American dollar, I believe that the rial is officially pegged 3.75 to one US dollar so perhaps shopping around isn't necessary. However, any information or/and advice anyone can give me is greatly appreciated. |

US Dollars are easily available at most banks and Money Exchages (eg Al-Rajhi), Not much point in shopping around. I have never heard of anyone wanting bills with consecutive numbers. This might be possible - but I am puzzled as to why anyone would want this.
Canadian dollars will be more dificult but some branches of Al-Rajhi will sell you a bank draft in Canadian dollars drawn on a Canadian bank.
I normally use the branch of Al-Rajhi on Dhahran Street in Al-Khobar. This is on the left side as you drive from Al-Khobar, but be extremely careful on the road here. There are regular fatal accidents involving pedestrians. :idea: |

| Some of the ATMS will give you US dollars so no need to even go to an exchange if you dont want to. |
