Does anyone have any general advice on working in Brazil vs Chile.

We're having difficulties finding respectable work in Brazil, and now considering Chile.

Ta!!

If you can possibly avoid going to live in Chile on any long-term basis, please do so. That country is filled with all kinds of subduction volcanoes and earthquake zones. It is situated on the Ring of Fire, a geologically volatile part of planet Earth. That area of the world is a massive disaster waiting to happen.

I would suggest that you keep trying to find work in Brazil. From a geophysical point of view, that country is much safer.
