I was wondering if anyone knew anything about TEFL worldwide prague. I've heard good things but haven't really heard from people who have gone through the program. So if you have, how was it? They pretty good about helping you find work in Prague? Housing?
Also is anyone doing the program in August? Thats when I am going. |

I completed the June class and am about to begin teching in a northern Czech city. It is not an exageration to say that the course is one of the most positive experiences I have ever had. Paul and Terry are not only two of the best trainers I've ever known, they are also two of the finest people it has been my pleasure to come across. The class is intense and you will wonder what in the world you got yourself into. But at the end you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you "earned" your certificate unlike other TEFL schools that are nothing more than certificate mills. I'd like to add that I can't imagine any class, course or seminar having a more profound effect on a person than this one. If you go their website and read Adam Seymour's "open letter" about how the course changed him you will know you have picked the correct school. I can only echo his thoughts and feelings. I had the pleasure of observing Adam teaching the last week of the course he attended and he was nothing short of amazing. Go, enjoy learn and be inspired! |

I'm familiar with the TEFL W course and agree it's a great one.
You should be ok with job search for Prague in early September, as it's just the beginning of the contract season. The TEFL Worldwide staff will help you make contacts, for sure. And don't worry about making friends - there's nothing like going thru an intensive course in a foreign country to encourage teamwork and friendships. You'll have a great time, and you'll get plenty of support. |
