| Is this a worthwhile venture? I'm in Italy currently and I know that everywhere here shuts for the entire month of August.. Is it the same in Lisbon or will language schools still be open? I just want to spend a few days there and hit every school in the yellow pages square in the face.. But obviously this won't go so well if none of them are open. |

| It may be too late to answer this question, but it's not so different in Lisbon. The best time to go it the same as Italy or Spain - in September, just before they hire. There's nothing stopping you sending you CV and seeing what happens - at any time of year. |
