I will be teaching on the outskirts of Linkhou area and wanted to know how difficult it is to get into the city on a regular basis. According to what I have been able to figure out, I am about 30-40 min outside the downtown area...I take it that is by bus?
How practical and expensive is it to drive a car in the city? Are there special licenses or taxes? I was thinking about getting a small car that I could use to commute to and from the downtown area. I realize the scooters are cheaper, but I feel like a car would be safer.
