Neo1,
As an ALT, your job can range from radio voice for examination recordings, activity club leader, sports coach, pen pal, sheriff, shoulder to cry on, English teacher for teachers, foreign correspondent, newspaper editor, adjudicator for speech contests, #1 mop pusher, eater of absent students' lunches, tour guide for visiting dignitaries, mediator for indignant Japanese teachers, kendo target practice, hapless taster of home economics cuisine, table tennis umpire, object of ridicule and hopeless crushes.
