Actually I teach how to say Florida the first week.

It is Flarda. It is not Flor- eeda. It is Flarduh or Flarda.

So Flarda- Dude. I think they can get dude.

At least they can say dude easier than Meeeester.....

Have them call you Sir. My students call me Sir. Not my idea. But it's better than being called Ma'am!

I get that while they are poking/ tapping me constantly. even a PARENT came in my classroom and started poking me while saying MEEEES!
Only a minor frustration until i came to school today with severe sunburn...

PLEASE STOP MEEEES-ING ME! ouch!

I cant speak for anyone else school, but It is not allowed at my school- infact the teachers dont use each others first names outside of school either.
