Does anyone know what the salary is for content based courses or subject courses?

There are problems answering the OP's original question. It is unclear what is meant by "content- based" vs " subject-based". There is no real difference, because content means the same thing, educationwise as subject. For example, if the course is business related, as in statistics, then the content of the course is statistics, and the subject is also statistics.
The poster may have meant to ask if the pay is different for English courses vs business courses, or degree subject courses. But RMIT would not have been able to answer that question directly because they have divided the English courses up into two teams, and the reasons for the difference is unclear .
What exactly would one be interviewing for? They ask and want to know. One must answer in terms common only to their personal bureaucracy. (not unlike the notorious British counsel's job behavioral competency lexicon which you are to download and memorize to use when filling out their job application forms and when interviewing. And at RMIT the question posed: IS one interested in English for Academic purposes or degree program? But one can not know what this means. Good luck on asking them about the difference between subject and content courses. So sad how these school want to give potential employees an elaborate task to solve before considering their own qualifications, already proven by their credentials or degrees.
