May I suggest you use the search function?

This question has been asked so many times, it looks like few have any desire to answer it again.

Sorry to comment on something you said you weren't looking for people to comment on, but WOW... $100,000NT per month!!!!!

Clearly you won't be teaching English, or you will be teaching so many hours that you won't really have any time to enjoy life/live/eat/breathe.

He obviously isn't an English teacher. Manager for a foreign company perhaps?

'my woman'?

When you two go out do you drag her down the street by her hair? Laughing

Seriously though, you can live quite nicely in Taiwan on $45 - $55K a month (your revised number) but I really wouldn't want to try and support a partner and her kids on that much.
