Could anyone give me some information about this school please - any experience of working there or opinions based on what you've heard? They've offered me a job and the package looks very good. However, having read a couple of forums on here, I'm not sure if it would be such a good job after all...one forum said it was one of the top 5 schools to avoid working at in Mexico City, and on another forum ( the jserio one) people say conflicting things about it - some people that they had a bad experience there, others that their experience was a good one.

If you are a fanatical ultra conservative Opus Dei type of catholic, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, watch out!

While it is true that some people could adjust to what is done at an Opus Dei school, I still think you should watch out before going to work there. I had what I felt was a very good sample lesson at Northridge, so when I was not hired, after some grilling of the coordinator, got a very ambivalent answer when I asked if it was because of my religious beliefs that I was noth hired. I don't regret not having been hired, but I suggest people consider what this type of school is interested in before accepting to work for them thinking that a well rounded education is what they will be contributing to.

The app is extensive and they ask MANY questions about your religion, beliefs, etc.

If you are really Catholic, it's great. If you think your religion is private and none of their business, don't even bother to apply, it's just a waste of time.

I don't think the religion thing is a big deal, people can adjust, and it's usually not pushed down your throat so long as you are respectful of the beliefs of the school and not do or say anything to contradict it.
There are other issues however in working with these kinds of schools, the same as it would be working with any private school that handles families with money. Unruly kids, incompetent administration, no support when parents complain. It's not really teaching, it's mostly trying to contain chaos.
It's a stressful job, and if you want to add in incompatible religious beliefs to the mix, it might not be worth it for many.
