Hi,

I'm wondering, how much vacation time do ESL teachers get in Taiwan? Also, when do these holiday periods occur? My question probably makes me look like I'm some sort of lazy bum who just wants to party, and not work-but actually, nothing could be further from the truth. Just trying to gain some understanding.

Depends on your contract but I would say that, typically, you should expect a week at Chinese New Year plus another week (paid or unpaid) during the remainder of the year.
