Hello
I have read through a few posts on here and i have watched some videos reviewing teaching in Taiwan but i was hoping to find some more recent information.
I have been offered a job in Taiwan with KOJEN and just need some advice. I have looked through the contract and it all seems pretty straight forward saying that i will be working 18+ hours a week etc. I have emailed them to ask a few other questions and i have stated below the details
- Prep work and the marking is unpaid, which i understand
- My visa is partially paid for
- They pay for the medical
- I cant tell immigration that i am there to work, its easier to sort out the visa that way
- Its a cram school
If anyone has any information or advice it would be much appreciated.
Thanks |

Hi Jones,
I worked for Kojen and had a good time. All the things you listed are correct, although I'm not sure how the visa payment breakdown works. Either way, it won't cost you that much.
Bottom line: If you go in with a good attitude, you'll have a good time. If you like looking for fault, you'll find it.
Good luck! |

Hi
Great that helps a lot since all i have found so far is just all negatives but as there not all recent reviews you don't know whether to trust them or not. Well thank you very much for your reply anyway it will defiantly help when coming to make the decision.
