I know that this is a long shot, but does anyone have any information on teaching English in the Azores? I know there are some schools and a university there, but that's all I've found out so far. |

Mark, if I were you I'd take that as an encouraging sign - it might suggest virgin territory, though that's hard to believe. Still, might be worth an exploratory mission ... |

Hi Mark
Just wondering why you are leaving Portugal?
Was it because the work and career prospects there were not what you thought they would be?
Cheers |

My decision has nothing to do with the tefl situation in Portugal. The prospects there are similar to other parts of Europe. I've spent a lot of time living in East Asia, and want to do some things there.
I may well come back to Portugal in the future, it's a good place to live. |

I have found the Bristol School on two of the islands.
In the hopes of resurrecting this post, does anyone have any advice specifically for the island of Sao Miguel please?
I've not had much a response from the Bristol School so wasn't sure where to try my luck next.
Thanks |
